अगर आप IBPS Clerk Recruitment 2026, यानी CRP CSA-XVI की तैयारी कर रहे हैं, तो सबसे पहले आपको एक बात साफ समझनी होगी—IBPS Clerk में सिर्फ syllabus पूरा करना पर्याप्त नहीं है। आपको यह भी पता होना चाहिए कि किस section में कितने प्रश्न हैं, कितने marks हैं, कितना समय मिलता है और कौन-से topics बार-बार आपकी speed और accuracy को test करते हैं।
इस लेख में केवल IBPS Clerk 2026 Exam Pattern और Detailed Syllabus को समझाया गया है। भर्ती की eligibility, salary, vacancy, application process, fees या अन्य notification details को यहां शामिल नहीं किया गया है।
यह syllabus IBPS CRP CSA-XVI की official notification को reference मानकर तैयार किया गया है। Official notification में IBPS ने section-wise examination structure दिया है, जबकि chapter-wise topics की exhaustive list अलग से नहीं दी जाती। इसलिए नीचे दिए गए topic-wise syllabus को official sections के साथ सामान्य IBPS banking-exam question trends के आधार पर व्यवस्थित किया गया है।

IBPS के official 2026–27 calendar में CSA-XVI Preliminary Examination 10 और 11 October 2026 तथा Main Examination 27 December 2026 के लिए निर्धारित है।
IBPS Clerk को अब Customer Service Associate (CSA) recruitment के रूप में आयोजित किया जा रहा है।
परीक्षा की तैयारी को दो मुख्य online stages में समझना चाहिए:
इसके अलावा applicable candidates के लिए Local Language Proficiency Test qualifying nature का हो सकता है, लेकिन यह written syllabus का हिस्सा नहीं है। इसलिए इस article में हमारा मुख्य focus सिर्फ Prelims और Mains के written exam pattern तथा syllabus पर रहेगा।
Preliminary Examination कुल 100 questions और 100 marks का होगा। कुल समय 60 minutes रहेगा और तीनों sections के लिए 20-20 minutes की अलग sectional timing होगी। नवीनतम CRP CSA-XVI pattern में Prelims का structure यही है।

आपके पास कुल 60 minutes हैं, लेकिन इसका अर्थ यह नहीं है कि आप किसी एक section में 30 minutes और दूसरे में 10 minutes लगा सकते हैं।
हर section का अपना timer होगा।
इसलिए preparation में केवल question solving नहीं, बल्कि 20-minute sectional practice करना भी जरूरी है।
Objective examination में गलत उत्तर के लिए penalty लागू होती है।
सामान्यतः प्रत्येक गलत उत्तर पर उस question के निर्धारित marks का one-fourth (0.25) काटा जाता है। Unattempted question पर penalty नहीं होती।
इसका सीधा मतलब है:
Speed + Accuracy > Blind Attempt
यदि आप केवल ज्यादा questions attempt करने के चक्कर में accuracy खराब करते हैं, तो आपका net score नीचे जा सकता है।
Prelims में तीन subjects हैं:
अब इन्हें एक-एक करके detail में समझते हैं।
English Language Prelims का पहला section है और इसमें 30 questions के लिए 30 marks तथा 20 minutes मिलते हैं।
यह section केवल grammar की परीक्षा नहीं है। इसमें आपकी reading ability, vocabulary, sentence understanding और basic grammar की जांच होती है।
इसमें एक passage दिया जाता है और उसके आधार पर questions पूछे जाते हैं।
Questions इनमें से हो सकते हैं:
एक passage में कुछ blanks होते हैं और प्रत्येक blank के लिए suitable word चुनना होता है।
इसके लिए आपको:
चारों को साथ में समझना पड़ता है।
Sentence में grammatical या usage-related error पहचानना।
Important areas:
Single या double fillers में context के अनुसार सही word चुनना होता है।
यहां केवल vocabulary याद होना पर्याप्त नहीं है।
पूरे sentence का meaning समझना जरूरी है।
Sentence में error या awkward construction दिया जाता है और उसे बेहतर grammatical structure से replace करना होता है।
Sentence के किसी हिस्से को suitable phrase से replace करना होता है।
कुछ sentences को logical sequence में arrange करना।
इसके लिए:

IBPS Clerk English की तैयारी में इन grammar areas पर विशेष ध्यान दें:
अगर आपकी English कमजोर है तो यह order useful रहेगा:

अगर English पहले से अच्छी है तो सीधे timed practice शुरू कर सकते हैं।
Numerical Ability में 35 questions, 35 marks और 20 minutes होते हैं।
यह section देखने में simple लग सकता है, लेकिन 20 minutes की time limit इसे speed-based section बना देती है।
यहां calculation speed बहुत महत्वपूर्ण है।
Numbers को approximate करके तेजी से answer निकालना।
Basic quadratic equations को solve करके roots के comparison या relationship से answer निकालना।
Percentage banking exams का fundamental topic है।

अगर Maths weak है तो यह sequence follow करें:

इस sequence का फायदा यह है कि बाद के कई arithmetic topics के लिए पहले वाले concepts उपयोगी होते हैं।
Reasoning में Prelims के दौरान 35 questions, 35 marks और 20 minutes मिलते हैं।
यह section intelligence से ज्यादा pattern recognition और decision-making speed को test करता है।
IBPS Clerk Reasoning में puzzle practice बहुत महत्वपूर्ण है।
Practice करें:
Input sequence में दिए गए arrangement को किसी rule के आधार पर transform किया जाता है।
Statements के आधार पर यह तय करना कि information question solve करने के लिए पर्याप्त है या नहीं।
Beginner के लिए:
Inequality → Syllogism → Coding → Blood Relation → Direction → Ranking → Series
इसके बाद:
Seating Arrangement → Puzzle → Input-Output → Data Sufficiency
यह approach आपको पहले scoring topics में confidence देती है और बाद में time-consuming questions पर ले जाती है।
IBPS Clerk/CSA-XVI में Mains pattern पर विशेष ध्यान देना जरूरी है क्योंकि 2026 cycle में revised structure सामने आया है।
नवीनतम notification-based pattern के अनुसार Mains में कुल:
160 Questions + 200 Marks + 125 Minutes
रहेंगे।
Sectional timing अलग-अलग होगी। Revised pattern में चारों sections में 40 questions हैं, जबकि Reasoning section 60 marks का है।

पुराने IBPS Clerk patterns देखकर preparation करना पर्याप्त नहीं है।
इस cycle में revised Mains structure के अनुसार:

Mains में Prelims के तीन subjects के साथ General/Financial Awareness का बड़ा role आता है।

यह section Mains का सबसे अलग section है क्योंकि इसमें calculation से ज्यादा knowledge, current affairs और banking awareness काम आती है।

तैयारी में focus करें:
Banking exams के लिए major government schemes की basic understanding रखें।
विशेष रूप से:
GA को एक महीने में पूरा करने की कोशिश न करें।

को routine में रखें।
Mains में General English के:

होते हैं।
यह section Prelims English से conceptually बहुत अलग नहीं है, लेकिन questions की complexity और reading requirement बढ़ सकती है।
Sentence correction और grammatical improvement.
Logical arrangement of sentences.
Improper phrase को correct phrase से replace करना।
Mains में Reasoning सबसे ज्यादा marks वाला section है:

इसलिए इसे केवल Prelims-level reasoning की तरह पढ़ना सही नहीं होगा।

Information sufficiency based questions.
Prelims में आपका लक्ष्य होता है:
Question जल्दी पहचानना।
Mains में आपका लक्ष्य होना चाहिए:
Complex information को जल्दी organize करना।
इसलिए Mains practice में केवल easy puzzles करने के बजाय multi-variable puzzles और high-level reasoning को धीरे-धीरे शामिल करें।
Mains Quant में:

होते हैं।
यह section calculation, arithmetic और DI की combination preparation मांगता है।
सबसे महत्वपूर्ण topics में:
Basic probability-based questions.
Basic counting concepts.
Quantitative information की sufficiency test करना।

मान लीजिए आपको Maths बहुत अच्छी आती है।
आप सोच सकते हैं:
“मैं Reasoning में 10 मिनट extra लेकर Maths में अच्छा score कर लूंगा।”
लेकिन sectional timing होने के कारण यह strategy काम नहीं करेगी।
आपको हर section के allotted time में ही अपना best performance देना होगा।
इसलिए mock test में केवल overall score देखें, ऐसा नहीं।
यह भी track करें:
यही data आपकी preparation को वास्तव में improve करेगा।
बहुत से candidates syllabus की PDF download करके उसे पूरा पढ़ने की कोशिश करते हैं।
लेकिन syllabus पढ़ना और syllabus तैयार करना अलग चीजें हैं।
उदाहरण के लिए:
आपने “Percentage” पढ़ लिया।
इसका मतलब यह नहीं कि Percentage तैयार हो गया।
Percentage तभी तैयार माना जाएगा जब आप:
इसी तरह Puzzle पढ़ना और Puzzle solve कर पाना दो अलग बातें हैं।
हर topic के लिए यह formula अपनाएं:
Concept → Solved Examples → Practice → PYQ → Timed Test → Revision
यह approach खासकर Maths और Reasoning में बहुत उपयोगी है।
English में:
Grammar → Reading → Vocabulary → Practice → Error Analysis
और GA में:

IBPS Clerk में selection के लिए आपको हर topic का professor बनने की जरूरत नहीं है।
आपको चाहिए:
Strong Basics + Fast Calculation + Logical Thinking + Good Reading + Regular Current Affairs + Mock Analysis
सबसे पहले Prelims के तीन subjects मजबूत करें।
फिर उसी preparation को Mains level तक बढ़ाएं।
और एक महत्वपूर्ण बात—पुराने IBPS Clerk exam pattern को देखकर 2026 की strategy तैयार न करें। CRP CSA-XVI के revised Mains structure में 160 questions, 200 marks और 125 minutes का pattern दिया गया है; इसलिए आपकी mock practice भी इसी structure के अनुसार होनी चाहिए।
