IBPS Clerk Recruitment 2026, जिसे CRP-CSA-XVI के नाम से आयोजित किया जा रहा है, में चयन की तैयारी शुरू करने से पहले सबसे जरूरी काम है—Exam Pattern और Syllabus को सही तरीके से समझना।
कई उम्मीदवार तैयारी तो शुरू कर देते हैं, लेकिन उन्हें यह स्पष्ट नहीं होता कि किस section में कितने questions हैं, कितना समय मिलेगा, कौन-सा section qualifying nature का है, Mains में किस subject का weightage अधिक है और negative marking किस तरह लागू होगी।
यही confusion बाद में mock test के दौरान सामने आता है।
इसलिए इस लेख में हम केवल IBPS Clerk/Customer Service Associate Exam Pattern 2026 और Syllabus पर focus कर रहे हैं। Recruitment की vacancy, salary, application process या पूरी notification की दूसरी details यहां शामिल नहीं की गई हैं।
यह लेख CRP CSA-XVI की official notification को reference मानकर तैयार किया गया है। IBPS की official notification में परीक्षा को Online Preliminary Examination और Online Main Examination के रूप में निर्धारित किया गया है। Official notification यहां देख सकते हैं: IBPS CRP CSA-XVI Official Notification PDF
Important: IBPS notification में chapter-wise textbook-style syllabus नहीं दिया जाता। इसलिए नीचे दिया गया topic-wise syllabus examination sections और banking-exam question trends को practical preparation format में समझाता है। उम्मीदवार को official notification के section names, marks और timings को अंतिम reference मानना चाहिए।
CRP-CSA-XVI में Preliminary Examination का मूल structure तीन sections और 100 questions का है।
लेकिन Main Examination के pattern में बदलाव महत्वपूर्ण है।
Current CRP CSA-XVI pattern के अनुसार Mains में कुल 160 questions, 200 marks और 125 minutes निर्धारित हैं। Quantitative Aptitude में 40 questions के लिए 35 minutes दिए गए हैं। विभिन्न published summaries भी इसी revised 160-question/125-minute structure को report करती हैं।
इस बदलाव का सीधा मतलब है कि इस बार Mains की तैयारी करते समय candidates को केवल syllabus पूरा करने के बजाय sectional speed और question selection पर भी खास ध्यान देना होगा।

दोनों online objective examinations में गलत उत्तर के लिए एक प्रश्न के निर्धारित अंकों का 1/4 हिस्सा negative marking के रूप में काटा जाता है। Unattempted question पर penalty नहीं होती।
Prelims को आप selection journey का speed test समझ सकते हैं।
इसमें तीन sections होते हैं:
हर section के लिए 20 मिनट की अलग sectional timing होती है।

यह structure CRP CSA-XVI के लिए प्रकाशित notification-based exam-pattern summaries में consistent है।
यह point बहुत महत्वपूर्ण है।
मान लीजिए आपने English के 20 मिनट पूरे कर लिए। अब आपके पास English में बचे हुए 2–3 मिनट को Maths में transfer करने की सुविधा नहीं होगी।
हर section का अपना निर्धारित समय है:
English → 20 Minutes
Numerical Ability → 20 Minutes
Reasoning → 20 Minutes
इसलिए preparation के दौरान केवल यह practice करना कि “मैं 100 questions कितने समय में कर सकता हूं” पर्याप्त नहीं है।
आपको यह भी practice करनी होगी:
“मैं 20 मिनट में अपने section के कितने accurate questions कर सकता हूं?”
यही कारण है कि sectional mock और timed practice IBPS Clerk preparation में बहुत उपयोगी होते हैं।
English Language में candidate की reading ability, grammar understanding, vocabulary और sentence-level accuracy को test किया जाता है।
Official notification section का नाम बताती है; chapter-wise micro-topics की exhaustive list नहीं देती। इसलिए preparation के लिए निम्न areas पर focus करना practical रहेगा।
English को केवल grammar subject न समझें।
यदि आप रोज 20–30 मिनट reading और 20–30 मिनट question practice करते हैं, तो comprehension और question-solving speed दोनों improve हो सकते हैं।
Numerical Ability Prelims का सबसे calculation-oriented section है।
35 questions के लिए 20 minutes का समय होने के कारण calculation speed बहुत महत्वपूर्ण हो जाती है।
अगर Maths weak है, तो शुरुआत difficult DI से न करें।
Preparation sequence ऐसा रख सकते हैं:
Calculation → Simplification → Percentage → Ratio → Average → Profit & Loss → SI/CI → Time & Work → Time & Distance → DI
इस क्रम से basic arithmetic धीरे-धीरे मजबूत होगी।
Reasoning में केवल logic जानना काफी नहीं है। यहां question selection और speed बहुत महत्वपूर्ण हैं।
Puzzle ऐसा topic है जिसमें एक ही question में कई conditions हो सकती हैं।
इसलिए problem केवल concept की नहीं होती।
समस्या होती है:
Reading + Arrangement + Calculation + Time
अगर आप किसी puzzle पर 8–10 मिनट लगा देते हैं और अंत में answer गलत निकलता है, तो इसका असर पूरे section पर पड़ता है।
इसलिए exam में puzzle selection skill develop करना जरूरी है।
अब preparation का सबसे महत्वपूर्ण हिस्सा आता है—Main Examination।
CRP CSA-XVI के revised pattern के अनुसार Mains में:

CRP CSA-XVI के current notification-based sources इस 160 questions/200 marks/125 minutes structure को show करते हैं।
Mains में Reasoning Ability के 40 questions के 60 marks हैं।
इसका मतलब है कि हर question का marks value समान नहीं हो सकता; section को 60 marks के हिसाब से evaluate किया जाता है।
इसलिए candidate को केवल “40 questions करने हैं” के नजरिए से तैयारी नहीं करनी चाहिए।
आपको यह देखना चाहिए:
किस topic में accuracy सबसे अधिक है?
किस topic में कम समय लगता है?
किस type के questions ज्यादा marks secure करने में मदद कर सकते हैं?
यह section Prelims में नहीं है, लेकिन Mains में बहुत महत्वपूर्ण है।
इसे अंतिम 10–15 दिनों के लिए छोड़ना एक common mistake है।
GA को सिर्फ newspaper reading न बनाएं।
आपका target होना चाहिए:
Read → Short Notes → MCQ → Revision
उदाहरण:
यदि आपने आज RBI से related कोई important update पढ़ा, तो उसे केवल पढ़कर आगे न बढ़ें।
उससे related 5–10 MCQs solve करें।
फिर सप्ताह के अंत में दोबारा revise करें।
Mains English में reading और language understanding का level Prelims की तुलना में अधिक demanding हो सकता है।
Mains Reasoning में Prelims के topics का advanced application देखने को मिल सकता है।
Prelims में जहां आपका objective speed बनाना है, Mains में आपको speed + complexity handling दोनों पर काम करना होगा।
इसलिए daily कुछ questions ऐसे रखें जो Prelims से थोड़ा ऊपर level के हों।
Mains Quantitative Aptitude को केवल basic arithmetic तक सीमित नहीं रखना चाहिए।
एक आसान तरीके से समझिए:
Speed + Accuracy + Basic Concepts
Concept + Application + Accuracy + Advanced Practice
उदाहरण के लिए Percentage दोनों में आ सकता है।
लेकिन Prelims में percentage-based straightforward calculation हो सकती है, जबकि Mains में percentage किसी DI, profit-loss, mixture या caselet के अंदर integrated हो सकता है।
इसलिए केवल Prelims-level questions solve करके Mains की तैयारी पूरी नहीं होगी।
Negative marking को preparation की शुरुआत से समझना जरूरी है।
गलत answer होने पर उस question के निर्धारित marks का 1/4 हिस्सा काटा जाता है।
उदाहरण के लिए यदि किसी question के 1 mark हैं और आपका answer गलत है, तो 0.25 mark penalty हो सकती है।
यह नहीं कि आपको questions attempt करने से डरना है।
इसका मतलब है:
Blind Guessing से बचें।
यदि किसी question में options eliminate करने के बाद reasonable confidence है, तो attempt strategy अलग हो सकती है।
लेकिन केवल “शायद यही होगा” के आधार पर लगातार guesses करना score को नुकसान पहुंचा सकता है।
Prelims में candidates को प्रत्येक test में IBPS द्वारा निर्धारित minimum score हासिल करना होता है। इसके बाद adequate number of candidates को Main Examination के लिए shortlist किया जाता है।
इसलिए यह strategy गलत है:
“मैं English छोड़ दूंगा और Maths/Reasoning में ज्यादा score कर लूंगा।”
आपको तीनों sections में minimum qualifying performance बनाए रखना होगा।
Preliminary Examination मुख्यतः shortlisting stage के रूप में काम करता है।
Final merit के लिए Main Examination का performance महत्वपूर्ण होता है। Current notification-based summaries के अनुसार Prelims marks final merit में add नहीं किए जाते और Main Examination के marks final merit/provisional allotment में मुख्य भूमिका निभाते हैं।
इसलिए preparation strategy में दो अलग targets रखें:
Target 1: Prelims qualify करना।
Target 2: Mains में maximum possible score बनाना।
अब pattern समझने के बाद सबसे बड़ा सवाल है—पढ़ें कैसे?
आप अपनी तैयारी को तीन levels में divide कर सकते हैं।
पहले basic concepts complete करें।
Percentage, Ratio, Average, Profit-Loss आदि।
Syllogism, Inequality, Coding, Blood Relation आदि।
Grammar fundamentals और reading.
अब timer लगाकर practice करें।
उदाहरण:
20 minutes → 35 Maths questions
यह जरूरी नहीं कि शुरुआत में आप पूरे 35 questions कर लें।
पहले accuracy बनाए रखें।
फिर speed बढ़ाएं।
अब sectional tests और full mocks दें।
Mock में वही sectional timing रखें जो वास्तविक परीक्षा में होगी।
यही तरीका आपको actual exam pressure के लिए तैयार करेगा।
एक practical routine ऐसा हो सकता है:

यह कोई official requirement नहीं है। यह केवल preparation को structured रखने का practical तरीका है।
अगर आपकी preparation अभी शुरू हुई है तो priority इस तरह रख सकते हैं:
Inequality → Syllogism → Coding → Blood Relation → Direction → Series → Seating → Puzzle
Simplification → Percentage → Ratio → Average → Profit/Loss → SI/CI → Time & Work → Time/Distance → DI
Grammar → Vocabulary → Fillers → Error Detection → Cloze Test → RC → Para Jumble
Banking Basics → RBI → Monetary Policy → Banking Terms → Digital Banking → Current Affairs
IBPS Clerk की तैयारी में एक बात बहुत स्पष्ट है:
आपको सिर्फ questions solve करना नहीं सीखना है; आपको limited time में सही questions solve करना सीखना है।
Prelims में 60 minutes के अंदर 100 questions का structure है।
Mains में 125 minutes में 160 questions और 200 marks हैं।
इसलिए preparation की final stage में आपका सबसे बड़ा weapon होगा:
Speed + Accuracy + Question Selection
यदि किसी topic पर आपकी accuracy 90% है लेकिन आप हर question में बहुत ज्यादा समय लेते हैं, तो exam में समस्या हो सकती है।
दूसरी तरफ यदि आपकी speed बहुत अच्छी है लेकिन accuracy 65–70% है, तो negative marking नुकसान करेगी।
आपको दोनों के बीच balance बनाना होगा।
पूरा syllabus एक साथ देखकर घबराने की जरूरत नहीं है।
इसे पांच बड़े buckets में याद रखें:
Grammar + Vocabulary + Reading
Calculation + Arithmetic + DI
Logic + Arrangement + Puzzle
Current Affairs + Banking + Finance
Advanced application + Mock Analysis
बस यही पांच blocks आपकी पूरी preparation को organize कर सकते हैं।

IBPS Clerk Syllabus देखकर बहुत बड़ा लग सकता है।
लेकिन वास्तविकता यह है कि आपको एक दिन में पूरा syllabus नहीं पढ़ना।
आपको इसे छोटे targets में divide करना है।
आज:
Percentage + Syllogism + Grammar
कल:
Ratio + Coding + Cloze Test
फिर:
Average + Puzzle + Reading Comprehension
और धीरे-धीरे पूरा syllabus cover होता जाएगा।
सबसे जरूरी बात—Mains को Prelims के बाद के लिए मत छोड़िए।
Prelims के साथ ही रोज थोड़ा General/Financial Awareness और higher-level practice करते रहें।
क्योंकि Prelims आपका पहला gate है, लेकिन Mains आपकी final ranking को प्रभावित करने वाला सबसे महत्वपूर्ण stage है।
IBPS Clerk Recruitment 2026 की तैयारी में सबसे पहले आपको यह स्पष्ट होना चाहिए कि exam केवल knowledge test नहीं है।
यह एक time-management और accuracy test भी है।
Prelims में 100 questions के लिए 60 minutes और Mains में 160 questions के लिए 125 minutes का structure आपको यही बताता है कि preparation में speed को ignore नहीं किया जा सकता।
इसलिए अपनी तैयारी को इस formula के साथ आगे बढ़ाएं:
Syllabus → Concept → Topic Practice → PYQ → Sectional Test → Mock → Analysis → Revision
यदि आप इस cycle को लगातार follow करते हैं, तो धीरे-धीरे आपका score ही नहीं बल्कि question selection और exam confidence भी improve होगा।
और याद रखें—
Syllabus पूरा करना पहला लक्ष्य है।
Syllabus पर command बनाना असली लक्ष्य है।
